Beulah Gundling

Beulah Gundling (Feb 13 1916 - Oct 1 2003) Inducted at the very first induction into the Swimming Hall of Fame in 1965. Beulah Gundling was the first US solo champion synchronized swimmer in 1950. A serious competitor, she designed her own costumes and arranged the music. In 1952 she demonstrated the sport at the Helsinki Olympics. She retired in 1955, a 5 time US champion.
